Queensrÿche rolled into Pittsburgh’s Altar Bar this past Wednesday and performed a great selection of hits to the near capacity crowd.
Pittsburgh’s own Vermithrax and Icarus Witch got things rolling in splendid fashion. Each band performed tight sets with that left the crowd wanting more.
When Queensrÿche hit the stage to the sounds of Nightrider the audience went wild. Drawing mainly from their first 5 (and arguably most popular) albums the band delivered a strong performance. Singer Todd La Torre sang all the hits with precision and the rest of the band was firing on all cylinders as well.
All in all it was an evening with three great bands and face melting performances. If you missed this show, you missed some great metal.
