In addition to being a founding member of Rusted Root and the Drowning Clowns, the founder of Creative.Live.Support and part owner Mr. Small’s Theatre and Mr. Smalls Recording and Mastering Studio in Pittsburgh, PA. Liz joins us to talk about SaveOurStage.com which is run by the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) to preserve and nurture the ecosystem of independent live music venues and promoters throughout the United States.

We are then joined by Shirley King. Shirley, the daughter of Blues icon B.B. King, has just released a phenomenal album Blues of a King. Shirley talks with us about how she came to get into music, the inspiration for her latest album that features guest appearances by a who’s who of blue musicians and so much more.
