DVD Review: Eagles Of Death Metal – I Love You All The Time – Live At The Olympia In Paris

You would have to live under a rock not to be aware of the horricic tragedy that took place at the Bataclan Theatre in Paris in 2015.  The band had since joined U2 during their encore in Paris later in 2015 to the delight of the fans.  On August 4th the band will release I Love You All The Time – Live At The Olympia In Paris.  Before the band played a note there is a touching moment where singer, guitarist Jesse Hughes is visibly crying waving to the audience.  Then band then proceeded to tear through a 90 minute set including all the songs you would expect from the band.   Their music, obviously not Death Metal at all, is a infectious blend of garage rock and punk with a just a speckle of metal-attitude.  The entire band have a great stage presence not the least of which is Hughes who’s charisma is unmistakable.  A fantastic live band a great representation on DVD, Blu-ray and CD.
